These Terms of Service govern your use of Listed Firm, a business directory and verification platform that allows businesses to create, claim, manage, and showcase business profiles. By creating an account, submitting a business listing, claiming a profile, or otherwise using Listed Firm, you agree to these terms.
1. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information associated with your account and for all activity performed through your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and must keep your login credentials secure.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Listed Firm. If you create or manage a business profile on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. Business listings
Listed Firm allows businesses to submit information for publication in our directory. Business information may include the business name, website, description, category, location, contact information, company size, founding year, and other information relevant to the listing.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate, current, and not misleading. You must not submit information that impersonates another business or person or that you do not have the right to publish.
We may review, edit, reject, suspend, or remove listings that violate these terms, contain misleading information, or otherwise do not meet our directory requirements.
3. Profile claims
Listed Firm may allow representatives of a business to claim an existing business profile. Claiming a profile does not automatically establish that the claimant is the legal owner of the business. We may request additional information or verification before granting or maintaining access to a claimed profile.
You must not claim a business profile unless you are authorized to represent or manage that business.
4. Verification
Listed Firm may provide verification badges or other verification indicators for businesses that satisfy our verification requirements.
Verification may involve domain ownership, business information, publicly available information, third-party services, financial or operational information, or other checks that we determine appropriate.
A verification badge indicates that Listed Firm has completed the applicable verification process. It is not a guarantee of a business's financial performance, quality, legality, solvency, or future performance.
5. Reviews and business information
Listed Firm may display business information obtained from businesses, publicly available sources, or other permitted sources. We aim to maintain accurate directory information but cannot guarantee that every piece of information is complete, current, or error-free.
You must not submit fake reviews, fabricated metrics, misleading claims, fraudulent information, or content intended to manipulate a business's reputation or search visibility.
6. Verification badges and widgets
Listed Firm may provide businesses with embeddable verification badges or widgets. These badges may link back to the corresponding Listed Firm profile.
You may only display a Listed Firm verification badge while the associated verification remains valid. We may disable or revoke a badge if the business no longer satisfies the applicable requirements.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Listed Firm to:
- impersonate another person or business;
- submit fraudulent, misleading, or fabricated business information;
- create unauthorized claims of business ownership;
- upload unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or infringing content;
- attempt to access another user's account or private information;
- interfere with or disrupt the Listed Firm platform;
- scrape or systematically collect data in violation of our policies or applicable law; or
- use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
8. Intellectual property
Listed Firm and its software, branding, design, logos, trademarks, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to Listed Firm and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content and information that you submit to Listed Firm. By submitting content, you grant Listed Firm a non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the directory.
9. Third-party services
Listed Firm may integrate with or rely on third-party services for authentication, email delivery, payments, verification, analytics, hosting, or other functionality. Third-party services are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Listed Firm available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the platform evolves.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be reflected by updating the date shown on this page.
11. Disclaimer
Listed Firm is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Directory information and verification indicators should not be treated as guarantees, warranties, or endorsements of any business.
Users are responsible for conducting their own research and due diligence before purchasing products or services from businesses listed on Listed Firm.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Listed Firm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including losses related to business decisions made using information published on Listed Firm.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Listed Firm at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts, claims, listings, or access where we reasonably believe that these terms have been violated, information is fraudulent, or continued access presents a risk to Listed Firm or its users.
